Katherine Perry

Executive Chef

Katherine Perry is the Executive Chef at Epic Events Catering. She started in the business at 12-year-old bussing tables and washing dishes at the friend’s family owned pizza shop, but her true passion for the culinary arts started at her grandmother’s big holiday feasts. After she graduated from culinary school, Katherine kept working, developing, and growing as a chef under a few nationally recognized chefs.

Chef Katherine is known to be true to the ingredient, less is more style of cooking and her love of utilizing local, seasonal produce and meats. These are the ideologies she inputs in her culinary style.

Her passion for the culinary arts comes from the simple joy of people’s reaction when they get to relish and love the food she prepares, whether it is a simple cocktail party with one bite appetizers or a full five course meal.

Zhana Pesa

Sales & Marketing Manager

Born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, Pesa found herself introduced to the hospitality industry in 1998. In 2005, she became a General Manager and then a Director of Sales of an Event Hall in New York City, where she graduated in International Business. She later opened her own Design and Floral Events company in NYC, which led to her to being featured in Style Me Pretty, the Knot, Best of Long Island, the Wedding Wire; to name a few. An industry veteran, Zhana uses her experiences to build long lasting relationships with her clients with deep understanding of even production and client needs.

Zhana moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2014 and currently lives in Marietta with her husband and two dogs. Besides work, she adores art, snow skiing and scuba diving.

Elizabeth Salazar

Sales Manager

Liz has been with Metrotainment Cafes since 2015, she brings with her 18 years of industry experience including overseeing special events at Hudson Grille in Sandy Springs. In 2017 she joined the team at Epic Events as the Sales Manager.

Liz has a true passion for special events, she prides herself on forming great relationships with her clients and goes above and beyond to continually exceed their expectations. 

Liz has 2 children and loves spending time with her family. Her time away from family and work is spent at the gym. She loves to stay on top of new industry trends and incorporate those into her clients

Yolande Nelson-Worthy

Sales & Event Coordinator

Yolanda Nelson was born in Georgetown, Guyana and came to USA in 1978. She and her family found a home in Jamaica, Queens. She attended pretensions Baruch College initially studying Business and

Education and later changed directions into a cosmetology and hair. She moved to GA in 2002, shortly after having her son.

She started with Epic Events Catering in 2015. Her love for the industry and Epic Events is evident through her success, and the love of her team and her clients who allow her to be herself. Seeing her clients event come together brings her joy and having fun and exciting team makes it even better!

Married in 2015, she has experienced first hand the detail needed to work in the industry bringing the same level of expectation with her for each event.
